As a Software Engineer, Application Integration, you will spearhead the engineering effort to build the bridge between complex Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and the Bayesian platform, delivering critical real-time insights to help clinicians save lives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Clinical Workflow Integration: Extend and configure full-stack applications across the EHR integration surface, coordinating with client EHR and clinical informatics teams to deliver Bayesian's clinical insights at the point of care.
- Integration Testing & Troubleshooting: Implement automated integration tests and work directly with client technical teams and frontline clinicians to investigate and resolve issues, ensuring smooth integrations.
- Production Deployment & Go-Live: Execute deployment processes in collaboration with client technical teams, serve as the technical point of contact during go-live week, and provide clear status updates to cross-functional partners.
- Integration Tooling & Automation: Develop frameworks and tooling leveraging LLMs and automation to increase efficiency and velocity of platform integrations as the company scales.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside Implementation Leads, Clinical Integration specialists, and client technical teams to align the application integration workstream with overall integration efforts.
Minimum qualifications include a BS in Computer Science or relevant technical discipline, 3+ years building and deploying full-stack applications to production with external API integration (React, TypeScript preferred), production experience with cloud solutions (AWS, Azure) and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL), experience writing automated integration and end-to-end tests, production deployment and on-call support experience, and strong cross-functional communication skills.
Preferred qualifications include experience with SMART on FHIR applications, EHR system integration, Health IT interoperability standards (HL7v2, FHIR), enterprise customer experience, and building internal tooling or LLM-based automation.
