Snowflake is seeking a Software Engineer to join the AIM Virtualization team, which is redefining interoperability for the modern data stack. This platform enables existing applications to work instantly on Snowflake by bringing virtualization principles to the database layer, allowing customers to migrate without changing SQL or APIs.
You will participate in AI-based development across the full platform, spanning syntactic and semantic analysis, wire protocols, and data ingest/egress. The role involves collaborating with product managers, solution architects, and field engineering to support customers through critical database transitions. You'll also define and improve engineering processes around AI-based software synthesis workflows.
