Conga is seeking a Software Engineer, AI to join its dynamic AI/ML team in Bangalore. You will contribute to the development of next-generation AI and GenAI-based products that serve over 10,000 customers worldwide, including more than 50% of the Fortune 100.
In this role, you will participate in the entire AI development lifecycle—from data collection and preprocessing through model training, evaluation, and deployment. You'll work on cutting-edge SaaS technologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. You'll also review code developed by peers, provide constructive feedback aligned with industry best practices, and assist in researching and experimenting with state-of-the-art generative AI techniques to improve model performance.
You'll report to the Sr. Manager, AI/ML and work in a collaborative environment where your voice is heard and individual and team development are prioritized.
Required qualifications include at least 3 years of software development experience with strong expertise in Python, FastAPI, PyTest, and Celery. You should have hands-on experience with object-oriented programming, concurrency, design patterns, and REST APIs. High-level familiarity with AI/ML, GenAI, and MLOps concepts is essential, along with experience in CI/CD tooling (Terraform, GitHub Actions), frameworks like LangChain and LangGraph, and databases such as SQL and NoSQL (MongoDB, MSSQL, PostgreSQL).
Cloud experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure is required; Google Cloud Platform experience is a plus. You should understand DevOps models and be comfortable taking ownership of requirements alongside product management to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software in production. A bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent is required.
