Key responsibilities include: - Owning technical strategy and architecture for agent development, connectivity, and deployment - Designing secure, reliable services with permission-aware access across multiple platforms - Establishing scalable patterns for connectivity, context retrieval, authorization, and action execution - Developing reusable SDKs, connectors, templates, and deployment patterns - Building policy-aware automation and lifecycle management for agents and integrations - Implementing governance and observability to enforce least privilege and protect boundaries - Setting operational standards for reliability, auditability, and incident response - Partnering across IT, Security, Privacy, Legal, and product teams Ideal candidates have deep hands-on software engineering experience building and operating production systems at scale, strong backend and distributed-systems fundamentals, experience building developer platforms or shared services, and familiarity with enterprise platform integrations. Experience with Slack Enterprise Grid, agent platforms, AI-assisted workflows, or agent interoperability protocols like MCP is a plus.
