You'll join a team of experienced builders from Scale, Databricks, HRT, Meta, MIT, Stanford, and Harvard to bring frontier AI to the physical economy—where problems are hard, data is complex, and impact is immediate.
In this role, you'll help establish Netic's New York office and own critical systems:
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Help found the New York office and set the bar for builder culture
- Build the agent harness: systems that run live customer conversations and take real actions under tight latency and reliability constraints
- Make agents measurable: develop evaluation, observability, and tooling to understand agent behavior in production and drive rapid improvements
- Co-create with customers: work closely to understand workflows, gather feedback, and translate pain points into sticky features
- Own end-to-end delivery: shepherd systems from spec to production that keep agents running 24/7
**What You Bring:**
- Founder-level ownership: you run toward ambiguous problems, write clean code quickly, and thrive autonomously
- Proven product builder: 4+ years delivering user-facing software at scale through multiple release cycles
- Full-stack fluency: comfortable with React, TypeScript, Python; experience with databases and cloud infrastructure
- AI experience (nice-to-have): hands-on work with LLM APIs, embeddings, or RAG patterns, or hunger to learn fast
- Customer empathy: track record translating stakeholder goals into crisp technical specs and delightful products
- Excellent communicator: can explain architectural trade-offs to engineers and business outcomes to executives
