Filevine is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join its Immigration AI team. As an SDET, you will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and infrastructure to ensure the quality and reliability of Filevine's legal AI platform, LOIS (Legal Operating Intelligence System). You will work closely with software engineers, product managers, and QA teams to build scalable test automation solutions that validate complex legal workflows and AI-driven features.
In this role, you will develop and execute comprehensive test strategies for immigration-focused legal applications, create robust automation frameworks using industry-standard tools and languages, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues early in the development cycle. You will also contribute to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline improvements, mentor junior QA engineers, and help establish best practices for test automation across the organization.
You should have strong programming skills, experience with test automation frameworks, and a deep understanding of software testing methodologies. Familiarity with legal tech, AI/ML systems, or immigration law is a plus but not required.
