StockX is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test to join the Buyer Experience team in Bangalore. You'll be part of a dynamic engineering team focused on ensuring high-quality releases for web and mobile platforms serving the global sneaker, apparel, collectibles, and electronics marketplace. In this role, you'll collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver robust software across payments, user identity, and order management flows. Your responsibilities include preparing comprehensive test plans from BRDs/PRDs, creating well-structured test cases following QA best practices, and automating tests for Web, iOS, and Android applications using WebdriverIO, Selenium, and Appium. You'll validate frontend functionality against backend systems through API checks, JSON validation, and log analysis. You'll perform functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing, execute tests on cloud platforms like LambdaTest, BrowserStack, and SauceLabs, and generate rich test reports using Allure. Additional responsibilities include integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, participating in sprint ceremonies, raising defects clearly, and contributing to long-term QA strategy and automation enhancements. You'll also explore emerging tools like MCP for assisted test creation and self-healing automation. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of web and mobile automation testing experience with strong proficiency in WebdriverIO, Selenium, Appium, and JavaScript/TypeScript. You should have hands-on experience testing iOS and Android apps, familiarity with cloud execution platforms, reporting frameworks like Allure, and debugging tools including DevTools, ADB, and Xcode. Git and CI/CD pipeline experience is essential. Nice-to-have skills include performance/load/security testing exposure, modern frontend framework familiarity, API automation experience, and broader coding knowledge in Java, C#, or TypeScript.
