Salary: GBP 80,000 - 120,000 / annual
GoCardless is a global bank payment company processing over $130bn annually across 30+ countries. The Payment Intelligence team is building intelligent data products that differentiate the core bank payments offering, focusing on two key products: Success+ (payment recovery) and Protect+ (fraud prevention).
As a Software Development Engineer III, you will work on high-impact projects including improving payment recovery rates for failed Account-to-Account payments, enhancing the value proposition of Payment Intelligence products for merchants, and leading growth initiatives to increase adoption of Success+ and Protect+. You'll be a core contributor to one of GoCardless' major revenue streams, collaborating with a cross-functional team of engineers and data scientists.
The role emphasizes hands-on experience with large front-end codebases and front-end infrastructure at scale. You'll combine technical excellence with product ownership, working closely with engineering teams and business stakeholders to validate ideas through experimentation and iteration.
