You will join the AudioVisual Tribe as a backend software developer, working collaboratively with team members across Poland, Austria, Slovakia, and Norway to develop and maintain high-performance services used by internal teams and external clients. Your day-to-day work will involve building scalable backend applications using PHP (Symfony) and/or Go, alongside modern technologies including React, TypeScript, MySQL (Aurora), Redis, RabbitMQ, gRPC, REST APIs, GraphQL, Kubernetes, Helm, AWS, Docker, and GitLab CI/CD. You'll work in a Scrum environment, manage tasks in Jira, and maintain documentation in Confluence. The team emphasizes code quality through test-driven development, pair programming, peer code reviews, and best practices. Your code will need to be efficient, reliable, clean, and maintainable to handle high-traffic, demanding performance requirements. REQUIREMENTS: - Backend development experience with PHP or Go (2+ years minimum) - Knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns - Understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and APIs (REST, gRPC, GraphQL) - Hands-on experience with SQL, NoSQL, and queue systems - Understanding of system monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, New Relic) - Practice with test-driven development and pair programming - Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD workflows NICE TO HAVE: - Experience with containerization (Kubernetes, Docker, AWS) - Experience designing and working on highly scalable systems - JavaScript and React experience (not required)
