AnyDesk is seeking a talented C++ Software Developer to join its international engineering team in Tampa. The role focuses on developing, improving, and maintaining high-quality software components in C++ that power a platform technology used by millions worldwide. You will work on core components, internal libraries, and cross-platform features across multiple development areas including client applications, backend systems, and research initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain robust, performant C++ software components
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement technical solutions
- Serve as a trusted technical resource for other developers, providing guidance and mentorship
- Take ownership of business-critical projects spanning various development domains
- Contribute ideas and push technical boundaries within a dynamic, collaborative environment
Required qualifications:
- Strong professional or personal experience with C++ development
- Solid understanding of computer architecture, memory management, and low-level programming
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and portable code
- Self-driven, proactive approach to work with strong independent and collaborative capabilities
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail, logical reasoning, and a can-do attitude
Preferred experience includes managing large-scale systems, deploying real-world applications, strong debugging and performance optimization skills, and familiarity with other programming languages.
