As a Software Architect, you will drive the design and implementation of Aspire's next-generation architecture to support high growth and long-term scalability across Southeast Asia. This is a technical leadership role on an international, diverse engineering team focused on building cutting-edge fintech solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect scalable, fault-tolerant fintech systems capable of handling high traffic and large datasets
- Lead vertical-specific complex technical projects from conception through execution
- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and architectural patterns
- Define system design standards ensuring correctness, concurrency control, and fault tolerance
- Proactively identify performance bottlenecks and implement efficient solutions
- Establish best practices for microservices architecture, RESTful API design, and data architecture
- Guide the team on caching strategies, message brokers, logging, and monitoring tools
- Balance scalability, performance, and reliability with emphasis on accuracy, safety, and auditability
Required Qualifications:
- 9+ years of professional experience in fintech startups or top-tier technology companies
- Strong hands-on programming expertise with multiple languages and frameworks
- Deep understanding of software design patterns and system architecture
- Proficiency in at least one backend language (PHP, Go, Python, Node.js, Java, etc.)
- Expertise in microservices architecture and RESTful API design
- Knowledge of database systems, caching, message brokers, and monitoring tools
- Proven ability to design systems with high concurrency, fault tolerance, and race condition handling
- Strong grasp of scalability and performance considerations for high-traffic systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- PHP development experience
- Education from top universities
- Background in software development methodologies and technical documentation
- Experience with multiple tech stacks
