The Engineering Team is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Aspire's products and infrastructure. As the company enters its next growth phase, they are focused on building next-generation architecture that can sustain high growth and scale for years to come. In this Software Architect role, you will drive and accelerate technical capabilities across the organization. You'll be responsible for designing and executing the architecture for a scalable, fault-tolerant fintech system serving South-East Asia. Key responsibilities include: - Define design and architecture for scalable, fault-tolerant fintech systems - Execute complex, vertical-specific technical projects - Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and frameworks - Optimize system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement efficient solutions - Design systems with correctness, concurrency control, and fault tolerance - Ensure safe behavior under load, retries, and race conditions - Balance scalability, performance, and reliability with accuracy, safety, and auditability requirements You'll work on an international and diverse team building a leading fintech product. The role requires 9+ years of experience in fintech startups or top-tier tech companies. You should have strong hands-on programming skills, deep understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful API design, and data architecture. Experience with caching, message brokers, logging, and monitoring tools is expected. Proficiency in backend languages such as PHP, Go, Python, Node.js, or Java is required, with PHP experience preferred. You should demonstrate proven ability to design systems handling high traffic and large data volumes with strong grasp of software design patterns and cutting-edge technologies.
