The Engineering Team is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Aspire's products and infrastructure. As the company enters its next growth phase, it is focused on building next-generation architecture that can sustain high growth and scale for years to come.
As a Software Architect, you will drive and accelerate Aspire's technical capabilities, designing and building a leading fintech product across South-East Asia on an international and diverse team. You will be responsible for defining system design and architecture for scalable, fault-tolerant fintech systems; executing complex technical projects; evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies and frameworks; and proactively optimizing system performance by identifying bottlenecks and implementing efficient solutions.
Minimum qualifications include 9+ years of experience in fintech startups or top-tier tech companies, with a strong understanding of programming languages, frameworks, and technologies. You should have expertise in designing scalable systems, software design patterns, system architecture, debugging, testing, and technical documentation. Preferred qualifications include proficiency in backend languages (PHP, Go, Python, Node.js, Java), deep understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design, experience with caching and message brokers, and proven ability to design systems with correctness, concurrency control, and fault tolerance. Knowledge of data architecture, logging, monitoring tools, and scalability considerations for high-traffic systems is essential.
