The company has built a frictionless payment platform for restaurants, enabling guests to scan a QR code and pay in seconds without apps or downloads. The platform spans Pay-at-Table, Digital Menus, Order-and-Pay, Payment Links, and SoftPOS terminals, helping restaurants reduce friction, accelerate table turnover, and improve profitability.
As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will own uptime and reliability for qlub's payment systems, ensuring they remain highly available and performant at scale. Your core responsibilities include setting up monitoring and alerting infrastructure, responding to outages and service disruptions, and automating repetitive operational tasks to reduce incident response time. You will define and track SLIs, SLAs, and SLOs to quantify service reliability and drive continuous improvement. You'll lead postmortems and root cause analysis, collaborating with engineering and operations teams to prevent repeat incidents. Additionally, you'll ensure systems scale effectively under load through proactive capacity planning and performance optimization.
You should have a Computer Science or Engineering degree and a minimum of 1 year of software industry experience. Fluency in English is required. You must be proficient with monitoring systems such as Grafana, Prometheus, or Datadog, and have hands-on experience with at least one programming language (Go, Python, or similar). Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential. Experience in payments, fintech, hospitality tech, or high-growth marketplaces is valued. Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman), log analysis (Jaeger), Slack integrations, and JIRA is a plus.
