Delinea is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to own the availability, performance, and reliability of critical SaaS applications running on Azure across multiple geographic regions. You will lead troubleshooting and resolution of cloud infrastructure and application issues, including AKS pod/node failures, deployment rollbacks, networking problems, and autoscaling challenges. You'll participate in an on-call rotation (including weekends) and drive incident response from detection through resolution, with a focus on minimizing customer impact.
Key responsibilities include owning production SaaS application availability on Azure (AKS, App Service, Redis, SQL, Service Bus) across multi-region deployments; leading infrastructure and application troubleshooting; driving improvements to disaster recovery, failover, and incident management processes; building and maintaining automation scripts and monitoring tools to reduce manual work; authoring post-incident reviews (RCAs) and driving preventive actions; partnering with senior engineers on reliability and observability improvements; and communicating clearly with customer-facing stakeholders during incidents.
You'll need 5+ years of SRE, DevOps, or Cloud Administration experience with demonstrated ownership of production systems. Required skills include hands-on Azure administration (AKS, Kubernetes, core services, networking, security), monitoring/logging/alerting (Datadog, Azure Monitor, ELK), networking fundamentals (firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, DNS), automation scripting (PowerShell, Python), and understanding of backup, redundancy, and disaster recovery in cloud environments including geo-redundant deployments. A strong ownership mindset across the full incident lifecycle and clear written communication skills are essential.
Desirable experience includes AWS, CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps), infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, ARM templates), and operating SaaS products with regional tenant architectures.
