This Site Reliability Engineer role is opening as an experienced team member transitions to a new chapter after seven years. You'll join a collaborative engineering team to support the performance, security, and reliability of modern, scalable cloud infrastructure.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, building, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform, working alongside senior engineers on architecture decisions
- Contributing to CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, learning best practices for secure deployments
- Supporting Kubernetes (EKS) environments and building understanding of container orchestration
- Setting up and tuning monitoring and alerting tools like Datadog and Prometheus, participating in incident response with team guidance
- Collaborating with engineering, security, and product teams to contribute ideas for infrastructure and process improvements
You should have some hands-on experience with AWS or strong self-directed learning capability, basic exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools, foundational knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, and ability to write basic Python scripts for automation. Experience with observability tools is a plus. Most importantly, you need a curious, collaborative mindset, comfort asking questions, openness to feedback, and eagerness to build toward greater ownership over time.
