Salary: USD 196,000 - 294,000 / annual
Vercel is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join the growth team and drive user acquisition, conversion, and retention through high-performance web experiences. You will collaborate with marketing, sales, and product design teams to build dynamic landing pages, run A/B tests, optimize conversion funnels, and establish Vercel as a gold standard for brand and product marketing.
Key responsibilities include leading complex frontend projects, designing and implementing scalable applications and APIs with a focus on UX and performance, contributing to the design system, improving engineering processes and tools, troubleshooting bugs, writing technical documentation, reviewing peer contributions, identifying bottlenecks in the conversion funnel, and thinking critically about foundational architecture for maintainability and extensibility.
You bring 5+ years of professional frontend engineering experience with strong proficiency in React, JavaScript, Tailwind CSS, and Next.js. You have full-stack capabilities, comfortable designing or consuming APIs and working with various services. You possess deep understanding of SEO principles, A/B testing concepts, and conversion rate optimization. You communicate effectively across functions and have an eye for excellent user experience and design systems.
Bonus qualifications include familiarity with the Vercel platform, Tailwind CSS expertise, background in web design, and interest in developer tooling. The role is fully remote for those outside commuting distance of SF, NY, London, or Berlin offices; otherwise, it includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday.
