Sygaldry Technologies is building quantum-accelerated AI servers to exponentially speed up training and inference for AI. This Simulation & Modeling Engineer role focuses on modeling and simulation of high-performing AI hardware, specifically contributing to and improving the ASTRA-sim simulation environment for their hybrid architecture. No prior quantum computing knowledge is required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Contribute to and improve the ASTRA-sim simulation environment for the hybrid architecture
- Interface with internal teams and external collaboration partners
- Work with internal teams that have developed estimation tools to help integrate these tools into the simulation and modeling framework
Ideal candidates will have:
- Experience contributing to modeling and simulation environments of distributed AI acceleration architectures
- Background modeling complex training, inference, and reasoning workflows implemented in heterogeneous AI clusters (GPUs, CPUs, novel accelerators)
- Exposure to simulation environments used by GPU/XPU suppliers, hyperscalers, or frontier labs for AI workload simulation
- Familiarity with architecture modeling and distributed simulation platforms such as Gem5 and ASTRA-sim
- Experience with C++ or SystemC behavioral models and timing-aware behavioral models
