Doctor Anywhere is seeking a Senior Manager of Business Development to lead regional growth initiatives in the Philippines. Based in Makati City, this role reports directly to the SVP & CEO of General Health Services and is responsible for driving new business revenues from insurance companies, HMOs, corporate partners, and consumers.
Key responsibilities include identifying and closing strategic partnerships with HMOs, insurance firms, corporate clients, healthcare providers, and government agencies. You will develop and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue, consultation volume, and partnership objectives. The role requires managing a healthy sales pipeline through networking, referrals, digital prospecting, AI-powered tools, and CRM platforms.
As primary relationship manager for assigned accounts, you will ensure high partner satisfaction, conduct regular business reviews to monitor performance and identify expansion opportunities, and execute upselling and cross-selling initiatives. You will lead end-to-end partnership discussions from needs assessment through contract execution and implementation, including presentations and executive-level meetings.
Collaboration is essential—you will work closely with Product, Medical, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Technology teams to design customized healthcare solutions. The role leverages AI tools and data analytics for prospecting, account planning, market research, and operational efficiency. You will analyze utilization trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify growth opportunities.
Additional responsibilities include developing business cases, pricing proposals, and ROI analyses; maintaining accurate CRM records and forecasts; coordinating with Operations and Customer Success on partner onboarding and issue resolution; and executing sales and marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness and member acquisition.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years of business development or sales experience in the healthcare industry, with a mindset of continuous improvement, curiosity, collaboration, and comfort with ambiguity in a startup environment.
