Datadog's Implementation Services team is seeking a Services Architect 3 to lead the discovery, design, build, and launch of the Datadog observability platform for enterprise customers. You will develop technical roadmaps for customer implementations and guide them through every phase of deployment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and execute Datadog implementations by gathering requirements, building technical architecture, and supporting deployment and launch
- Guide customer onboarding through co-development working sessions and troubleshoot roadblocks
- Write automation and design architecture for deployment templates
- Manage implementation projects end-to-end
- Collaborate with Customer Success, Technical Account Management, and Sales teams to deliver exceptional onboarding experiences
You bring 5+ years of experience as an architect or consultant in professional services, with hands-on expertise in:
- DevOps monitoring and architecture systems design
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and compute technologies (EC2, serverless, VMware, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Configuration management, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD tools (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, Chef, Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines)
- Programming/scripting in Java, Python, Ruby, Go, Node.js, PHP, .NET, or similar languages
- Security operations, SOC management, SIEM tooling, and zero-trust architecture design
