AEVEX is seeking a ServiceNow Architect to own the continued development, maturity, and expansion of ServiceNow across the enterprise. This is a platform ownership role focused on end-to-end solution delivery from requirements gathering through design, development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
Platform Development & Ownership: Serve as the primary technical resource for ServiceNow, designing and developing solutions using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and Flow Designer. Manage Update Sets and controlled promotion across Dev/Test/Prod environments. Support platform upgrades and release management.
ITSM & Service Experience: Develop and mature ITSM capabilities including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Service Catalog. Configure Change Management workflows, CAB processes, and risk assessment. Design Service Catalog items, approval workflows, and SLAs. Improve agent workspaces and end-user portal experiences.
Asset Lifecycle Management: Develop Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) capabilities. Configure asset lifecycle processes including receiving, assignment, inventory, refresh, and retirement. Improve asset ownership, visibility, and reconciliation.
ITOM, Discovery & CMDB: Mature and maintain the CMDB with emphasis on accuracy and data integrity. Configure Discovery schedules, MID Servers, Service Mapping, and reconciliation rules. Develop processes to identify and remediate stale or inaccurate data.
Integration & Automation: Design and maintain integrations with enterprise platforms using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and MID Server. Deploy IntegrationHub spokes and reusable automation components. Identify opportunities to automate repetitive processes.
Reporting & Analytics: Develop dashboards, operational reporting, and analytics to provide platform visibility and support data-driven decision-making.
The role is remote with estimated 10–20% travel to AEVEX facilities in Tampa, FL and Solana Beach, CA for implementation workshops, go-lives, and team events. May require occasional work outside standard business hours for deployments and critical incident resolution.
