As a Sensor Integration Engineer II, you will own the end-to-end setup, configuration, testing, and validation of advanced camera and sensor systems that form the core of LVT's hardware portfolio. This is a hands-on technical role based in the American Fork, Utah facility, where you'll work directly with Hardware Engineering, Product Engineering, and Quality teams. Key responsibilities include: - Setting up, configuring, and integrating camera and sensor systems (PTZ, thermal, radar) across LVT's hardware platforms - Leading hands-on testing and qualification of sensors to ensure performance standards across operational conditions - Building and executing structured QA processes, including comprehensive test plans and test cases that scale across products and firmware revisions - Validating camera performance in real-world conditions (field of view, image quality, detection range, night performance) and translating findings into engineering feedback - Mentoring junior technicians on camera configuration, testing methodology, and technical problem-solving - Collaborating cross-functionally to move products through development into production, managing integration timelines and resolving sensor-level blockers - Driving continuous improvement initiatives including test automation, validation tooling, and qualification standards refinement - Maintaining sensor configuration databases, test records, and validation archives Ideal candidates bring deep hands-on experience setting up and configuring IP camera systems (ideally as an integrator), proven QA testing background with test plan and case development, working knowledge of physical security sensor technologies, strong system-level troubleshooting skills across hardware/firmware/network layers, meticulous documentation practices, and ability to mentor teammates and establish best practices.
