Venti Technologies is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join its multi-disciplinary Systems Team in Singapore. The company develops safe-speed autonomous logistics systems for goods transportation, combining rigorous mathematics, deep learning, and theoretically-grounded algorithms. With offices in Cambridge (Massachusetts), Suzhou (China), and Singapore, Venti has autonomous systems deployed across Asia for industrial and logistics sites.
In this role, you will lead systems engineering efforts by setting direction for processes, frameworks, and methodologies. You'll own the development of clear, scalable, and effective systems engineering practices within the team and company. Key responsibilities include defining systems engineering objectives and roadmaps, navigating ambiguity in project scopes and requirements, and proactively identifying risks with mitigation strategies.
You will mentor less experienced systems engineers, fostering professional growth and technical excellence while demonstrating best practices in systems engineering, project management, and problem-solving. Cross-functional collaboration is essential—you'll partner with product, software, hardware, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of systems solutions. You should quickly acquire domain knowledge in autonomous systems and robotics, contributing with minimal guidance while continuously enhancing expertise.
Required qualifications include strong systems engineering skills (methodology, requirements management, safety analysis, verification and validation), experience with requirement management tools (Polarian, DOORS, Jama) and system modeling tools (SysML, MagicDraw), and proven ability to mentor other engineers. Familiarity with agile methodologies and safety standards (ISO26262, SOTIF) is expected. You'll need a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Engineering, Robotics, or related field, plus 5+ years of systems engineering experience with senior or leadership capacity.
Bonus skills include expertise in systems architecture, network infrastructure, system integration, verification test case management, simulation tools, and experience in engineering/robotics domains with distributed systems (hardware, software, cloud). INCOSE, ASEP, or CSEP certification is a plus. The company offers competitive salary commensurate with experience, world-class benefits, fantastic culture, flexible working arrangements, and a great international working environment.
