Salary: USD 155,000 - 230,000 / annual

As Senior/Staff Software Engineer - Infrastructure and DevOps, you will provide technology leadership to the Infrastructure team while designing and managing resilient, scalable infrastructure supporting development, testing, and production environments. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure CI/CD pipelines; creating detailed architecture diagrams and documentation for DevOps processes; automating development, testing, release, and deployment workflows; contributing to security best-practices and "Shift Left" security initiatives; continuously assessing and optimizing the technology stack; collaborating across development, operations, and security teams; and mentoring junior engineers.
You should have 6+ years of software engineering experience in development, operations, and full-stack implementations, with proven experience as a DevOps Architect or similar role. Required skills include solid Linux experience, proficiency with Python/Go/Rust/Ruby for automation, expertise with cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP), strong CI/CD patterns knowledge, and networking experience with TCP/IP, WAN, gateways, and cloud networking. Experience with virtualization (Docker, VMWare, KVM), orchestration (Kubernetes), infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), CI systems (Jenkins), configuration management (Chef, Ansible, Puppet), monitoring (Sensu, Prometheus, Nagios), and logging tools (Elasticsearch) is essential.
The ideal candidate works effectively across distributed teams, demonstrates excellent project management and leadership skills, exhibits strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, communicates and collaborates effectively, maintains uncompromising integrity, pays attention to detail, works independently while being a strong team member, and embraces cloud technologies. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent is required.
