Suno is building the world's first creative entertainment platform for music creation, backed by leading investors including Bond Capital, Menlo Ventures, and NVIDIA Ventures. The company is standing up an Artists & Creators pod focused on Songkick.com, a newly acquired live music and ticketing product.
In this role, you'll take technical ownership of Songkick within Suno across the full stack: backend, website, mobile apps (React Native, iOS, Android), data pipelines, and notification systems. You'll report to the Songkick Engineering Manager and collaborate closely with the General Manager, Product Manager, and Music teams to define success metrics and drive growth.
Key responsibilities include owning parts of the Songkick product end-to-end, leading technical integration of Songkick into Suno's platform, architecting data aggregation systems that ingest and normalize touring and event data from dozens of sources, assessing the established codebase to determine what to preserve or modernize, designing APIs for mobile clients, and extending Suno's mission into how fans discover live music.
You'll need 5–10 years of software engineering experience with a demonstrated commitment to staying close to code and users. Strong ownership mentality, startup experience shipping quickly in ambiguous environments, excellent API design skills, and experience working with mobile teams are essential. You should be comfortable with modern agentic coding workflows, E2E testing, and rapid learning. Experience with data ingestion from multiple sources, SQL/NoSQL, system architecture at scale, and performance tuning is highly valued. React Native and Ruby on Rails experience, plus notification system expertise, are nice-to-haves.
The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, brings low ego and high versatility, gets energy from rapid prototyping, and has genuine passion for music and live events.
