Crusoe is a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company building energy-efficient data center solutions to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. The company owns and operates the full stack from power generation through cloud services.
You will lead the buildout and day-to-day operations of Crusoe's growing network of Spark and colocation data center sites. This role owns the complete site and employee experience across a distributed portfolio of remote workplaces without on-site coordinators. You will establish the standards, systems, vendor relationships, and remote-monitoring cadence that keep sites functional and teams supported without daily physical presence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the buildout of the Colocation & Spark workplace program, creating repeatable standards, service levels, and mobilization playbooks so each new site opens ready rather than built one-off
- Own day-to-day workplace operations across the portfolio, establishing systems, reporting, and remote-monitoring cadence
- Manage vendor and landlord relationships as the primary point of contact for facilities, maintenance, service issues, and contract performance
- Own the workplace budget across the portfolio, including forecasting, vendor spend, and cost optimization
- Deliver strong site and employee experience for dispersed teams, including planning travel for mobilizations, executive visits, and quality checks
- Bring Crusoe's broader People and Workplace strategy to a distributed footprint, adapting programs built for large single offices to remote teams
- Ensure hospitality-caliber visitor experience at every site through advance planning and clear on-the-ground coordination
- Own food, beverage, and office amenities programs across the portfolio, managing vendors remotely and building connection moments for distributed teams
- Hire, manage, and develop the Colocation & Spark Workplace Coordinator team as it grows domestically and internationally
- Travel to sites to support executive, VIP, and prospective client visits, coordinating logistics and on-the-ground details
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in workplace, facilities, or site operations spanning multiple locations (not a single office), ideally at a fast-growing company
- Proven experience building a program, standard, or playbook without established precedent
- Demonstrated experience managing budgets, vendor contracts, and landlord or building-management relationships
- Experience managing and developing direct reports with focus on accountability and service, including managing teams across multiple countries and time zones
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across People, Construction, Facilities, Operations, IT, and Security
- Comfort substituting systems and remote monitoring for daily physical presence, with sound judgment on when a site visit is needed
- Highly organized, comfortable operating independently, solving problems, and building structure without established playbooks
- Hands-on operator who takes ownership and is motivated by building from the ground up
- Willing and able to travel regularly (up to 50%, including international) for mobilizations and site visits
Bonus qualifications:
- Experience in data center environments
- Familiarity with remote-monitoring or ticketing systems for facilities and workplace operations
- Experience scaling a function during fast geographic growth
