Celonis is the global leader in Process Intelligence and Process Mining technology. As a Senior Value Engineer, you will drive AI and data-driven business transformation for Fortune 500 customers in the High Tech and Diversified sectors. You'll own the complete value journey—from initial discovery through ROI realization—working alongside Lead and Principal Value Engineers to combine technical execution with consulting and strategic program management.
Key responsibilities include: uncovering customer business challenges and crafting compelling value narratives through executive workshops; cultivating executive sponsorship across business units and co-owning change management initiatives; steering global transformation programs across complex workstreams using AI-assisted project management; acting as an AI-fluent operator leveraging AI copilots for rapid technical outputs while partnering with Applied Value Engineers on deep-dive solution builds; and building strategic expansion roadmaps to embed Celonis as a core platform while providing feedback to R&D on evolving use cases.
You'll need 5+ years of experience in Value Engineering, Consulting, or Pre-Sales, with proven expertise managing complex customer relationships and multi-region transformation programs. Strong background in enterprise software (SAP, Workday, Salesforce, Oracle) is essential. You should have deep domain knowledge in Finance and Supply Chain, with particular expertise in High Tech industry trends. The ideal candidate combines a builder mentality with commanding executive presence, demonstrated ability to mobilize VP/Director-level sponsorship, and flawless communication skills. A technical degree (Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics) or Business/Economics degree with technical minor is required. This is a full-time, in-office role based in Redwood City, California. Visa sponsorship is not available.
