Celonis is the global leader in Process Intelligence and Process Mining technology. As a Senior Value Engineer focused on the Public Sector in the Netherlands, you will drive AI and data-driven business transformation for Fortune 500 government clients. You will own the complete value journey—from discovery through ROI realization—using the Celonis Context Model and Platform.
Your core responsibilities include: uncovering complex organizational challenges and crafting compelling value narratives for executive stakeholders; cultivating sponsorship across business units and co-owning change management initiatives; steering multi-workstream transformation programs with AI-assisted project management; acting as an AI-fluent operator leveraging AI copilots for rapid technical outputs while partnering with Applied Value Engineers on deep-dive solution builds; and building strategic expansion roadmaps to embed Celonis as a core platform.
You will work alongside Lead and Principal Value Engineers, combining technical execution with consulting and program management expertise. Success requires orchestrating complex stakeholder ecosystems, designing Centers of Excellence roadmaps, automating executive governance (QBRs, steering committees), and providing feedback to R&D on evolving customer use cases.
Required qualifications: 5+ years owning complex workstreams and customer relationships in Value Engineering, Consulting, or Pre-Sales; solid background in enterprise software (SAP, Workday, Salesforce, Oracle); proven expertise in process improvement and multi-region transformation programs; deep understanding of Public Sector trends; fluent English and Dutch with commanding executive presence; and a technical degree (Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics) or Business/Economics degree with technical minor. You operate as an AI-fluent builder, comfortable setting your own direction within an account team and proactively hunting for highest-impact solutions.
