Celonis is seeking a Senior Value Engineer for its Manufacturing vertical. You will drive pre-sales and land motions for strategic accounts in CPG, pharmaceutical, and process manufacturing, leveraging the Celonis Process Intelligence platform and Apollo to solve business-critical operational problems.
You will combine hands-on technical validation (SQL, Python, Prompt Engineering) with high-level strategy. Key responsibilities include: leading pre-sales efforts and proving Celonis solves mission-critical manufacturing challenges; architecting and prototyping process redesign solutions using workflow orchestration, system write-backs, and AI agents; applying technical skills to steer Apollo toward optimal data models and validate code; owning end-to-end Proof-of-Value projects including technical discovery workshops and multi-stakeholder delivery; and delivering compelling executive presentations that translate AI/Process Intelligence architectures into clear financial and operational ROI.
You will work alongside top AI/ML partners like OpenAI, Microsoft, and Databricks, bridging IT/OT systems (ERP, MES, SCADA) and feeding business context to AI models.
Required: 5–7 years in technical pre-sales, value engineering, or solution consulting within Manufacturing (Automotive, Aerospace, CPG, Industrial Equipment); deep domain knowledge across Supply Chain, Production Planning, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, or Asset Management; proven proficiency in SQL, Python, and Prompt Engineering with ability to inspect code and guide data modeling; hands-on automation background translating operational requirements into scalable solutions; track record of project ownership and multi-stakeholder navigation; strong executive presence; high-growth attitude and adaptability; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Industrial/Operations Engineering, STEM, or equivalent.
Nice to have: RAG, LLM orchestration, safety evaluation/guardrails experience; hands-on integration of enterprise cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) with IT/OT environments (SAP, MES, PLM, SCADA).
