Salary: USD 100,000 - 115,000 / annual
Vestmark Advisory Solutions (VAS) is seeking an experienced Senior Trader to support its expanding advisory and asset management services. This role focuses on implementing trades for Manager Models (both proprietary and third-party) across Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs), Model Sponsor Platforms (MSPs), and Unified Managed Accounts (UMAs).
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and implementing improvements to trading processes and operational efficiency
- Processing client model change requests by generating across-the-board (ATB) block trade orders while performing risk mitigation controls
- Handling maintenance requests (new accounts, cash flows, terminations, tax harvests) by rebalancing accounts and routing trade orders for execution
- Communicating model changes to Model Only/UMA sponsors in accordance with ATB trade order rotation and client SLAs
- Performing trading services on behalf of clients to facilitate connectivity between Vestmark and sponsors
- Managing all aspects of trade operations including order management, execution review, and reconciliation across Vestmark and enterprise client platforms
The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively in a team environment while maintaining strong risk controls throughout the trading lifecycle.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 3+ years of experience in Separately Managed Accounts (SMA), Unified Managed Accounts (UMA), or wealth management industry
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, self-motivated, good work ethics, and ability to work effectively in a team environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Working knowledge of Vestmark, CG Trade Connect, InvestCloud (formerly Fiserv APL), Fiserv MMS, or Envestnet Manager Portal (EMP)
- Knowledge of tax overlay and direct indexing
