Fin (part of Intercom) is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead enterprise systems initiatives that form the backbone of the company's finance, people, and legal operations. This is a program management role focused on end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-quarter, multi-workstream initiatives spanning Finance, People, Legal, and Engineering teams. Key responsibilities include owning delivery of Fin's most complex Enterprise Systems programs with accountability for outcomes, not just plans. You'll partner deeply with Finance, Billing, and People teams to translate business problems into technical solutions, challenging stated requirements to find better answers. You'll shape initiatives before they become projects by working with leadership to pressure-test problems, define scope, and establish success measures. You'll manage stakeholders and expectations directly, setting clear delivery bars and communicating changes early while building trust to influence decisions without formal authority. A critical aspect is planning around business cycles—month-end, quarter-end, year-end, payroll, and performance cycles—sequencing delivery and testing to protect teams during critical periods. You'll own the Enterprise Systems roadmap and drive visibility across IT groups and senior stakeholders. You'll run implementations with rigor, managing requirements, functional specs, build oversight, UAT, cutover, and hypercare. Risk management is active and proactive: surfacing issues, dependencies, and delays early with mitigation options and recommendations. Beyond system delivery, you'll lead organizational change through enablement, communications, and training to drive adoption post-go-live. You'll also raise the bar on how the Enterprise Systems team delivers by improving planning, governance, and ways of working. Required experience: 6+ years managing technical programs and projects end-to-end, with a proven track record of enterprise system implementations from initiation through go-live and stabilization. You need strong command of program management fundamentals (planning, sequencing, resourcing, dependency management, risk/issue management, and status reporting). You must have delivered multiple concurrent workstreams while maintaining control of scope, timeline, and quality. Direct experience with Finance and People systems—specifically NetSuite and Workday—is essential, along with working knowledge of procure-to-pay, record-to-report, hire-to-retire, and quote-to-cash flows. You need practical understanding of business close cycles and how to plan delivery around them. A broad understanding of enterprise systems architecture, integrations, data flows, and the SaaS application landscape supporting Finance, People, and Legal teams is required.
