Alice is a trust, safety, and security company built for the AI era, safeguarding communicative technologies and providing end-to-end coverage across the AI lifecycle. The Cyber Threat Intelligence group is seeking a Senior Threat Intelligence Researcher to lead technical threat research, author analytical reports, and proactively monitor emerging threats.
In this role, you will hunt, detect, monitor, and research threats against Alice clients, analyzing threat groups and TTPs across fraudulent ecosystems. You will research and monitor multiple sources through the clear, deep, and dark web, producing technical reports for clients describing threat actor TTPs, analysis, and exploits. You will work closely with client account leads and stakeholders, collaborating with fellow analysts to produce intelligence reports. You will review, enrich, and provide analyst tradecraft for other team members as part of the delivery process, and prepare assessments of current threats and trends based on collection, research, and analysis of classified intelligence.
This is a senior individual contributor role requiring deep technical expertise and the ability to take initiative on independent research with a proven track record of high-level results. You will be expected to mentor and guide other analysts through your tradecraft and analytical rigor.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must Have:
- Experience in at least one of: anti-bot detection/research, proxy detection/research, or web scraping development/detection/prevention
- Technical CTI threat hunting experience with databases, IPv4/IPv6 intelligence
- Experience with threat hunting platforms (VirusTotal, UrlScan, Greyhat Warfare, Shodan)
- Demonstrated ability to analyze threat groups and actors using OSINT and WEBINT methodologies
- Darkweb and cybercrime intelligence experience
- Strong English communication skills with ability to clearly communicate intelligence through reports and client briefings
- Demonstrated experience gathering and evaluating internet information from social media, chats, and darknet forums
- Great verbal and written communication skills
Nice to Have:
- Scripting proficiency (Python, BASH, or equivalent)
- Experience operating threat intelligence collection platforms (Intel471, Recorded Future, CyberSixgill, Flashpoint, or equivalent)
- Foreign language proficiency
