Salary: USD 145,000 - 180,000 / annual
Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to lead electrical test engineering for next-generation autonomous vehicle radio products. You will own end-of-line test systems and plans, collaborating with firmware, software, hardware design, and manufacturing teams to ensure rapid testing and validation from conception through production.
Key responsibilities include designing and executing PCBA, electrical systems, and RF component testing; developing test automation hardware systems for fast and repeatable product validation; and creating test procedures from component to system level. You will lead design reviews, provide technical mentorship, support board bring-up and bench validation, and drive root cause analysis processes. Your work directly impacts product safety, reliability, and risk mitigation.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years hands-on experience designing functional test equipment; 3+ years schematic capture and PCBA layout (Altium Designer preferred); 2+ years scripting automation (C/C++/C#, Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW); advanced knowledge of hardware communication protocols (USB, I2C, I2S, CSI, Ethernet, SPI, PCIe, HDMI, CAN, serial); and familiarity with measurement analysis techniques like Gage R&R and Process Capability Analysis.
Preferred qualifications include Master's in Electrical Engineering, RF test equipment experience (Vector Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Power Meters), RF component testing background, and hands-on experience with complex networking equipment and IP network design. You should be detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working in lab environments with strong safety awareness.
