Branch is a data-driven insurance technology company on a mission to make insurance more accessible through innovation in quoting, bundling, and cost reduction. This Senior Territory Manager role is a field-based, relationship-driven position responsible for growing business volume and quality from independent insurance agencies across a defined territory (Phoenix, AZ area).
You will own a defined territory and carry a production target for bound premium and policy count. This is a feet-on-the-street role where your in-person presence and relationships are the core product. You will build and segment a target agency list, set your own call plan, and decide where your time is best spent across your agency base while defending those choices against your production number.
Key responsibilities include: building trust and driving adoption of Branch's quoting tools with agency principals and producers; running consistent in-person agency visits, lunch-and-learns, and local events; securing specific production commitments from priority agencies; educating agencies on Branch's ideal risk profile and quoting platform; activating and retaining producing agencies; addressing competitive objections; and reporting field intelligence back to inform broader strategy. You will partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Underwriting, and Operations to resolve territory-level barriers.
Success is measured by growth in bound premium and policy count against target, quality of business (% of growth matching ideal customer profile), and agent activation rates (% of target agencies actively producing).
Branch is remote-first with headquarters in Columbus, Ohio, and additional office space in Missouri and Illinois. The company gathers annually for "BranchFest." Branch has a preference for candidates in Ohio but is open to candidates in AZ, FL, GA, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, MD, MI, MO, NV, NC, OH, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, and WI.
