Halo Industries has developed breakthrough laser-based technology to revolutionize semiconductor material slicing, minimizing waste and enhancing material cost efficiency. Founded in 2014 at Stanford University, the company received significant funding in 2024 and is now scaling toward volume manufacturing and rapid expansion.
You will serve as Senior Technical Project Manager supporting the development and deployment of Halo's laser equipment. This is a critical execution role that drives the company's strategic roadmap, manages complex hardware projects from R&D through production, and coordinates cross-functional teams and external partners.
Key responsibilities include:
• Day-to-day project execution and tracking: manage dependencies, resolve bottlenecks, and collect scope, cost, schedule, and resource information to support planning and trade-off decisions.
• Cross-functional coordination: work with optical and laser engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, software engineering, NPI, quality, supply chain, production, and operations teams. Establish clear owners and deliverables, schedule follow-ups, and ensure accountability.
• Risk and issue management: identify technical and execution risks early, develop mitigation and contingency plans, escalate promptly, and coordinate root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Stakeholder communication: provide clear project status updates, meeting minutes, milestone review materials, and decision requests that summarize progress, risks, dependencies, and open decisions.
• Project planning: support program definition of scope, milestones, budget estimates, resource needs, and deliverables. Build and maintain the project schedule incorporating work breakdown structure input.
• Production and field readiness: track validation, documentation, training, and handoff requirements for manufacturing, operations, and field deployment.
Requirements:

• Excellent planning, communication, and coordination skills with ability to build consensus across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to operate in matrix environment, remain hands-on, and drive execution in fast-paced setting
• Process-oriented with strong organizational skills, capable of setting clear goals and maintaining consistency
• Technical judgment and ability to understand dependencies, identify risks, and support program trade-offs
