Zoox is developing the first ground-up, fully autonomous vehicle fleet and supporting ecosystem to bring autonomous mobility-as-a-service to urban environments. You will own a critical product domain spanning the vehicle experience across current and future platforms. In this role, you will define product strategy and execution across hardware, firmware, software, and operations. You'll own successful product execution throughout its lifecycle, developing deep understanding of customers, market dynamics, and business objectives to identify new opportunities and align your product domain with company goals. You will serve as the Product Owner in a highly cross-functional development process, ruthlessly prioritizing features and ensuring clear communication of priorities across all stakeholders. Key responsibilities include: - Define product areas across current vehicle and future platform - Own successful execution of the product across its lifecycle - Develop deep understanding of customer, market, and business objectives to find new opportunities - Serve as Product Owner in cross-functional product development spanning HW, FW, SW, and operations - Ruthlessly prioritize features and communicate priorities clearly You will need to be a shrewd negotiator capable of influencing diverse stakeholders to drive decisions and consensus quickly. You must balance long-term strategic objectives against near-term tactical wins, demonstrate a track record of taking action and delivering results, and navigate complex tradeoffs in a structured, critical-thinking approach. Bonus experience includes both 0-to-1 product development and scaling, as well as experience with both physical and digital products. REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (engineering, computer science, or related field) required - Technical fluency to engage credibly with hardware, firmware, and software teams - 8+ years of direct product management experience bringing 0-to-1 products to market in the automotive or autonomous vehicle (AV) space - Demonstrated ability as a shrewd negotiator and stakeholder influencer - Ability to balance long-term strategic objectives against near-term tactical wins - Self-starter with track record of taking action and delivering - Adept at critical thinking and navigating complex tradeoffs in a structured way
