Lead Bank, an API-first banking infrastructure platform serving innovative fintechs, seeks a Senior Technical Governance Program Manager to lead enterprise technology governance, risk, compliance, and control initiatives. This role sits within the Information Security team and partners closely with Security Engineering, Technology, Data, Compliance, and Enterprise Risk Management teams to modernize control frameworks and maintain audit readiness. Key responsibilities include: - Leading and managing enterprise technology governance, risk, compliance, and control initiatives across Information Security, Technology, Engineering, and Data organizations - Leading, mentoring, and developing team members with coaching, feedback, and professional growth support - Driving enterprise Data Management and Governance initiatives including data security, classification, retention, quality, and regulatory compliance - Leading governance and readiness programs for enterprise Disaster Recovery, including assessments, control reviews, tabletop exercises, and resiliency improvements - Managing Security Compliance programs ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, industry frameworks, and security best practices - Overseeing the enterprise Security Third-Party Risk Program including risk assessments, due diligence, monitoring, and remediation tracking - Driving automation of audit and compliance evidence gathering, control monitoring, and governance workflows - Leading coordination of internal and external audits covering technology, cybersecurity, cloud, and engineering controls - Supporting strategic initiatives including emerging technology risk, AI governance and risk management, and compliance program enhancements - Identifying opportunities to strengthen governance through automation, continuous monitoring, and scalable improvements Required qualifications: 5–8 years in Technology, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Technology Risk, GRC, or related discipline. Demonstrated experience managing and mentoring teams with ability to set priorities and drive performance. Experience leading complex, cross-functional technology governance, risk, compliance, or security programs in high-growth, fintech, startup, or fast-paced environments. Strong understanding of technology governance, cybersecurity frameworks, cloud platforms, infrastructure security, and compliance practices. Experience working with internal and external auditors and managing remediation activities. Preferred: banking or highly regulated industry experience, familiarity with AI governance and emerging technology controls, ability to automate and modernize compliance processes, and experience developing governance metrics and executive reporting.
