Voyager Space seeks a Senior Technical Director for Spectrum Dominance to lead the technical vision and execution of advanced RF systems, software, and algorithms across communications, electronic warfare, radar, and sensing applications. This is a high-impact leadership role within the Advanced Technology Development team, a specialized unit focused on defining and developing Voyager's future technologies with emphasis on high-ROI R&D and leap-ahead capabilities.
You will serve as the ultimate technical authority for RF, EW, and sensing programs, responsible for translating R&D investments into deployable, mission-critical capabilities. The role requires deep familiarity with hardware, software, and algorithms across multiple RF functions, combined with the strategic ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams from concept through productization and commercialization.
Key responsibilities include defining and driving the technical roadmap for the Spectrum Dominance portfolio, leading complex research and development programs, ensuring R&D outcomes translate into monetizable commercial motions, and guiding the technical direction of hardware, software, and algorithm development. You will work across the totality of Voyager's capabilities and into new, uncharted technology areas.
This role is ideal for someone with rare expertise in RF engineering who can balance deep technical knowledge with strategic leadership, capable of executing both advanced research initiatives and bringing products to market. The position is based in Washington D.C., Los Angeles, or Seattle, reflecting Voyager's multi-site operations in defense and space technology.
