ClickHouse, a Forbes Cloud 100 company and leader in real-time analytics and data warehousing, is seeking a Senior Technical Customer Support Engineer to join its global Support Engineering team. The role is based remotely and will primarily serve Latin American customers while providing coverage across the Americas, EMEA, and APJ regions as needed.
You will be the technical face of ClickHouse to customers and prospects, handling support interactions via tickets, chat, Slack, calls, and video meetings. Your responsibilities include triaging and resolving technical support cases, guiding users through ClickHouse Cloud and open-source implementations, and contributing to community support efforts. You will partner closely with the Go-to-Market team on proof-of-concept technical aspects, develop shareable solutions and documentation, and mentor colleagues and customers on ClickHouse best practices.
The role requires delivering excellent first-line technical support within SLA commitments, building trusted relationships with customers and internal teams, and contributing to process improvements within the Support organization. You will work in a 24x7 global support environment with on-call coverage expectations.
Ideal candidates bring technical depth in SQL databases, OLAP systems, cloud-native SaaS, or distributed systems. Prior experience as a Support Engineer, Consultant, Database Administrator, SRE, Solutions Engineer, or Software Engineer is expected. You must be self-driven, curious, and comfortable working fully remote with strong communication skills and reliable connectivity. Bonus qualifications include hands-on ClickHouse experience, open-source community involvement, cloud platform expertise (AWS, GCP, Azure), and familiarity with data pipeline tools like Kafka, Kinesis, or Spark.
