Okta is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant for Auth0, a leading identity and access management platform. In this hands-on role, you will deliver implementation and deployment services to enterprise customers, leading multiple concurrent projects from design through post-deployment success.
You will work directly with customers to gather requirements, design solutions, and execute technical implementations using Auth0 and related identity technologies. Key responsibilities include performing hands-on technical design and configuration, troubleshooting complex identity federation scenarios, and mentoring customers on platform capabilities. You'll manage project scope, schedule, and documentation while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
You will serve as a technical liaison between customers and Okta's product, engineering, and support teams, escalating issues and driving product feedback. You'll also collaborate with sales on upsell and cross-sell opportunities and contribute to continuous improvement of delivery methodologies.
Required expertise includes 5+ years as a technical consultant, 3+ years with JavaScript and modern MVC frameworks (React, Angular, etc.), and deep knowledge of identity protocols (SAML 2.0, OAuth, OpenID Connect). You should have hands-on experience with multiple programming languages (Java, .NET, PHP, Ruby), REST/JSON APIs, and enterprise identity lifecycle management. Cloud architecture and on-premise IT landscape experience is essential.
The role requires 25% travel to customer sites. You'll work from one of five locations: Bellevue, Chicago, New York, San Francisco, or Toronto.
