Razorpay, one of India's leading fintech companies, is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant to join their Business Engineering team. This role bridges technical expertise with merchant support, working directly with developers, clients, and internal teams to resolve post-integration issues and provide technical consulting.
You will report to the head of Technical Support within Business Engineering and own the end-to-end resolution of merchant technical queries and tickets. Your responsibilities include:
- Addressing complex technical queries on Razorpay's APIs, plugins, and full product suite
- Communicating technical issues clearly to merchants and internal departments, including discussions with CXOs and engineering teams
- Identifying irregularities, bugs, and unexpected behaviors in Razorpay products and services
- Providing Level 2/3 technical support with deep product knowledge, troubleshooting, and debugging expertise
- Collaborating with Product and Software Engineering teams to report and resolve issues via Jira
- Ensuring successful resolutions and best practices are delivered to merchants
- Contributing to documentation and knowledge sharing across the support organization

The ideal candidate has strong technical fundamentals, experience with payment systems or fintech, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders. You should be comfortable diving deep into complex integration issues while maintaining a merchant-first mindset.
