Applied Intuition is seeking a Senior Technical Business Development professional to support automotive business development across the EU region. You will serve as the HQ counterpart to the EU Automotive Lead, representing European automotive accounts internally and deputizing across strategic forums.
Key responsibilities include:
- Engage with prospective automotive customers identified through internal teams or ecosystem knowledge
- Conduct customer discovery sessions to understand requirements and map Applied Intuition solutions
- Host customer workshops and deliver tailored technical demonstrations
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to develop customer solutions or support new product creation
- Manage technical scope and business model iterations with customers through proposal approvals
- Develop revenue strategy and outlook for solutions in automotive and adjacent domains
- Act as the HQ bridge for EU automotive business, representing European accounts to Product/Engineering and owning time-zone handoffs on live engagements
- Own deal qualification (MEDDPICC) for European opportunities and drive solution proposals end-to-end
- Deputize for the EU Automotive Lead in planning, resourcing, and escalation discussions
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years in automotive software (ADAS/AD, SDV, simulation and validation) in technical business development, pre-sales, or solutions engineering
- Bachelor's degree
- Proven ability to work across stakeholders on complex projects
- Strong customer engagement and deal-driving capability
- Software engineering foundation (C++/Python) with working knowledge of SDV workflows, SIL/HIL toolchains, or AUTOSAR stacks
- Experience working with or selling to European OEMs; comfort with European engineering and procurement culture
- Willingness to maintain regular EU time-zone overlap and travel to Europe (~25%)
- US work authorization; based in or willing to relocate to Bay Area
Nice-to-have: startup experience from Series A to IPO, German language skills, time inside European OEM or Tier-1 software organization.
