Veeam, the Data and AI Trust Company, is seeking a Senior Technical Alliances Lead to shape the global technical strategy and execution for strategic security and AI ecosystem alliances. This senior individual contributor role reports to the Sr. Director of Technology Alliances and bridges product, engineering, alliances, sales, marketing, and field teams to translate partner strategy into practical architectures, integrations, and enablement.
Key responsibilities include: leading technical strategy for Security & AI alliances by translating alliance priorities into technical plans and execution; driving joint solutions through defining and validating integrations (APIs, interoperability) and producing reference architectures and validated designs; aligning product and engineering roadmaps by identifying technical gaps and incorporating partner/customer feedback; representing Veeam with partner technical stakeholders on strategic opportunities; creating joint technical assets including briefs, diagrams, demos, and validation materials; enabling internal and partner field teams on deployment and joint solution positioning; and tracking technical milestones tied to alliance outcomes.
Required qualifications: 10+ years in enterprise infrastructure, data protection, security, cloud, or solution-focused technical roles; deep expertise in backup & recovery, cyber resilience, security architecture, and modern enterprise infrastructure; proven alliance/partner experience translating business priorities into technical architectures; credibility engaging with partner product teams, architects, and technical executives; experience producing technical assets such as reference architectures and integration blueprints; strong integration skills across APIs and platform ecosystems; and excellent cross-functional communication in matrixed organizations.
Bonus qualifications include experience with enterprise security platforms (cyber recovery, DSPM, identity protection, AI infrastructure), alliance ecosystems across security vendors and cloud platforms (Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike, Fortinet, Red Hat, NVIDIA), familiarity with Veeam's data resilience and ransomware recovery concepts, multi-vendor joint solutions, and global distributed team operations.
