Salary: USD 145,000 - 210,000 / annual

As a Senior Technical Account Manager, you will be a strategic partner to Semgrep's most important customers, driving implementation and ongoing adoption of the platform. You'll manage a book of business with a focus on ensuring customers realize maximum value from Semgrep's security solutions. Key responsibilities include: - Conduct monthly check-ins with customers to understand their successes and challenges - Engage with technical stakeholders both within customer organizations and internally at Semgrep - Develop personalized success plans for each account to drive platform adoption and growth - Partner with Sales to deliver executive business reviews to both technical practitioners and executive buyers - Collaborate with Support to resolve technical issues and with Product to advocate for feature requests and roadmap improvements - De-escalate urgent situations that pose churn risk - Contribute to documentation and best practices that enhance customer success - Serve as the voice of the customer internally, influencing product evolution You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Support teams. The role is based in New York with flexibility to work from one of Semgrep's hub locations (San Francisco, Boston, New York, or Denver). REQUIREMENTS: - 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing role (Technical Account Manager, Account Manager, or Product Manager for highly technical products preferred) - Deep understanding of developer workflows and build systems, including CI/CD environments (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Circle CI, Jenkins, Buildkite) and SCM environments (Git, SVN, Perforce) - Strategic thinking with strong customer empathy and ability to create and execute account growth plans - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with executive presence - Familiarity with Web Application Security concepts including OWASP Top 10 - Background or genuine interest in DevSecOps or AppSec - Engineering or technical degree from a four-year college or university
