Mytra is building robotics and distributed software to solve material handling and storage in supply chain operations, targeting a $1T market. The company is scaling rapidly as e-commerce growth and supply chain disruptions create urgent demand for automation solutions.
As a Senior Systems Integration Engineer on the Systems Engineering team, you will design, integrate, and debug safety- and mission-critical control systems. You'll work hands-on with both proven industrial automation components and custom internal hardware, balancing commercial off-the-shelf solutions with longer-term embedded architecture goals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain PLC-based control and safety systems using distributed I/O, industrial networks, and interfaces to mobile and stationary automation equipment
- Design high-voltage and low-voltage electrical panels and control cabinets using ePLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar tools
- Collaborate closely with Electrical, Mechanical, Firmware, and Software teams to define interfaces and integrate mechanical, electrical, and software capabilities
- Develop specialized service and commissioning tools (e.g., jog pendants) and scalable control architectures for site deployments
- Troubleshoot complex electromechanical systems across electrical, controls, embedded, networking, and software boundaries
- Support system integration, commissioning, testing, and root-cause investigations at Mytra facilities and customer sites
Ideal candidates bring significant hands-on experience designing, commissioning, and troubleshooting industrial control systems using Beckhoff TwinCAT/TwinSAFE, Siemens controllers and Siemens Safety, or comparable PLC and safety platforms. Experience designing electrical control systems and panels using ePLAN or AutoCAD Electrical is essential. Strong understanding of industrial controls hardware, sensors, actuators, and networking protocols (EtherCAT, Profinet, Modbus) is required.
