Salary: USD 166,000 - 220,000 / annual

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join its Model-Based Systems Engineering team, which supports the development and deployment of cutting-edge autonomous airpower systems. This role is critical to establishing Anduril's systems engineering and mission systems integration capabilities. You will serve as a systems engineer interfacing with internal programs and external customers, developing model-based systems engineering artifacts that often become contractual deliverables. Your work will be demonstrated at stakeholder meetings and events, directly proving Anduril's advanced engineering capabilities. Key responsibilities include: - Developing systems engineering artifacts based on stakeholder needs and collaborating with functional teams to ensure completeness and accuracy - Participating in the development of Anduril's Digital and Systems Engineering Strategy and Implementation - Building deep understanding of Anduril's platforms, autonomy, simulation, and perception products through creation and maintenance of systems engineering artifacts - Interfacing with both internal and external stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions Required qualifications: - B.S. in aerospace, mechanical, computer science, or similar engineering field - 8+ years of systems engineering experience across the full lifecycle - Strong understanding of aerodynamics and propulsion principles as applied to missile systems - Familiarity with guidance, navigation, and control systems for precision-guided munitions - Knowledge of reliability engineering concepts and practices - Experience with systems testing and evaluation methodologies - Understanding of threat analysis and weapon system design - Exposure to weapon systems integration processes - Proven experience with DoD weapon systems, space systems, or comparable complex systems - Proficiency with SysML, DoDAF, UAFP, or similar modeling standards - Demonstrated ability to develop model-based systems engineering artifacts (operational viewpoints, system viewpoints, activity diagrams, use case diagrams, BDDs, IBDs, parametric diagrams) - Experience with Cameo MagicDraw or equivalent systems engineering software (Rhapsody, SparxEA) - Familiarity with Digital Engineering workflows and Integrated Modeling Environments (e.g., Teamwork Cloud) - Outstanding communication and presentation skills - Active U.S. Secret security clearance (required); eligible to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance Preferred qualifications include computational fluid dynamics (CFD) or propulsion system modeling experience, control system design for guided weapons, reliability prediction techniques, test planning and data analysis expertise, mission modeling experience (OCA/DCA, ISR, SEAD/DEAD, Electronic Attack, Integrated Fire Control), Cameo Simulation Toolkit proficiency, MATLAB/SIMULINK expertise, and INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional (SEP) certification.
