Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the US Army's Next Generation Command and Control (NGC2) program within the Connected Warfare business line. This role focuses on building a next-generation software-defined distributed C2 architecture that orchestrates and automates third-party combat-fielded sensors and strike-networks for synchronized joint operations. You will lead technical engagements that bring new partners onto the platform, conducting technical exchanges with their engineering teams, establishing integration designs, decomposing requirements into engineering work, and authoring reference material that subsequent integrations build from. This work spans organizational boundaries without shared reporting lines or backlogs. Key responsibilities include: leading partner engagements end-to-end by conducting technical exchanges and owning integration design; designing across organizational boundaries where multiple engineering teams and companies are involved; establishing reusable patterns by converting recurring engagements into reference architectures and integration documentation; owning the intake process to translate partner and field needs into scoped, prioritized engineering work; and scaling onboarding across the Army by identifying where integration depends on individual intervention and establishing automated or self-service paths. Required qualifications include an active Top Secret security clearance, a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience), and 5+ years in systems engineering, solutions architecture, integration engineering, technical program management, or forward-deployed engineering. You must demonstrate architecture judgment in API- and service-based systems (REST, gRPC, authentication flows, schema design, event streams), experience owning technical work across organizational boundaries, ability to conduct and document technical working sessions, strong technical writing skills (reference architectures and integration guides), and communication ability across engineering and senior military stakeholders. Preferred qualifications include service in or direct support of US Army organizations, DoD delivery experience, and familiarity with unit software adoption processes.
