Voyager Technologies is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the development of space technology systems. This role is based in Houston, TX or Cleveland, OH and reports to the Senior Director of Engineering. You will be responsible for defining, tracing, and managing system requirements across product lifecycles using digital tools, with a focus on identifying interface requirements and controlling interactions across system and subsystem boundaries. You'll lead multidisciplinary technical teams through analysis, integration, verification, and validation phases, developing and executing comprehensive verification and validation plans to ensure systems meet quality standards. Key responsibilities include developing and reviewing integrated system architecture through trade studies, leveraging system modeling and analysis to support technical decision-making. You will manage stakeholder needs and collaborate across functions to transform requirements into design inputs, facilitating integration of technical and program objectives. You'll monitor and control processes to coordinate design changes and their impact across subsystems, ensuring alignment with organizational quality standards. Additionally, you'll provide technical and logistical support for milestone reviews, evaluate performance criteria, support the validation process, and prepare technical progress reports. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution and 7-9 years of experience in a related field. You must have demonstrated experience identifying interface requirements, utilizing digital requirement management tools, leading multidisciplinary teams, leading milestone reviews with internal and external stakeholders, developing integrated system architecture, and working with system modeling and quality control procedures. Preferred qualifications include experience in the space hardware industry, familiarity with systems engineering and requirements management software tools (MBSE), engineering simulation and modeling software, and experience with reliability analysis and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA). The role requires travel up to 30% to launch sites, customer facilities, and NASA/Government centers, including possible overnight stays both domestic and international.
