VAST Data is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join its infrastructure team supporting the AI revolution. The role combines customer-facing technical leadership with internal product development collaboration.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead customer evaluations, benchmarks, system configurations, and installations for enterprise data infrastructure
- Partner with R&D Engineering to define product requirements, usability improvements, and create technical specification documents
- Develop and execute sales strategy and tactics, owning technical relationships within customer accounts
- Demonstrate deep expertise in storage products, distributed storage architectures, file systems, and competitive offerings across DAS, NAS, and SAN spaces
- Create repeatable architecture blueprints and solutions for the Sales team to deliver to customers
- Mentor and develop a dispersed team of systems and field engineers
- Advise on building and managing a scalable Support organization
