As a Senior Systems Engineer for Aerial Systems, you will take a critical hands-on role in designing, implementing, and maintaining aerial systems. This is a highly technical position requiring close collaboration with development teams across the office, lab, and field environments.
Key responsibilities include:
• Drive system architecture and detailed specifications for aerial systems through rapid iterations and hands-on prototyping
• Deploy, configure, and integrate complex hardware and software components to ensure optimal performance in tactical environments
• Support and oversee the transition of products from prototype and certification phases into mass production
• Work cross-functionally with R&D, manufacturing, QA, and field operations teams throughout the entire system lifecycle
• Maintain comprehensive system documentation and provide training to team members on system updates, safety procedures, and compliance
You will be expected to work closely with engineering teams in multiple environments, balancing prototype development with production readiness. The role demands strong technical depth in systems engineering, hardware-software integration, and the ability to iterate rapidly while maintaining quality and compliance standards for defense applications.
